  4. Relevance/Revelation – “God will fulfill His part but never our part.” (Turning Point)
  5. Overview – Five ways the Holy Spirit helps us to fall in love with Jesus and three possible responses on our part

Talk

Five ways the Holy Spirit helps us to fall in love with Jesus:

  1. He gently leads us to Christ – Acts 8:26-29
  2. He helps us to understand the Gospel – 1 Corinthians 2:6-7, 12
  3. He enables us to believe – 1 Corinthians 2:1-5
  4. He pours out God’s love into our hearts when we believe – Romans 5:5
  5. He empowers to know more about the love of God – Ephesians 3:14-19

Three ways we can respond:

  1. Resist – Acts 7:51
  2. Receive – Acts 2:38-39
  3. Remain – John 15:9-11, 16:12-15

Touchdown

  1. Emphasize Turning Point – “God will fulfill His part but never our part.”
  2. Nudge toward action – We must do our part and not just leave everything to God.
  3. Direct initial response – Receive invitation to Freedom Day on March 29. Remain in Christ by being part of a small group starting February.
